About Me

I was born in Edinburgh and grew up in Montreal, Canada. I studied English Literature and Dance at Concordia University and spent many years travelling, gaining inspiration for my writing. I returned to the UK in the 90’s and now live in Chester with my husband Keith. My love of ancient history draws me to Europe, and of course to Egypt, to study and enjoy the incredible monuments, and to cycle through the Valley of the Kings and Queens.

Past

I was born in Edinburgh and grew up in Montreal, Canada where my mum was a Humanities teacher. I studied English Literature and Dance at Concordia University and spent many years travelling, gaining inspiration for my writing. I returned to the UK in the 90’s and now live in Chester with my husband Keith.

Present

My love of ancient history draws me to Europe, and of course to Egypt, to study and enjoy the incredible monuments, and to cycle through the Valley of the Kings and Queens. I am fascinated by the human stories I encounter on my travels and how they create a giant tapestry spanning time.
